Foursquare church installs new G.O

Reverend Felix Meduoye was at the weekend installed as the 4th elected General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.

The new general overseer promised to lead the church to a glorious destination. The installation ceremony was attended by great ministers of God from within and without the country. It also coincided with the grand finale of the 55th annual convention of the church with theme, “In His light.”

In his acceptance speech, Rev Meduoye said his vision was to build a glorious church that would remain focused as an evangelical mission.

He said that church under the new leadership will continue to remain neutral on issues of national and global politics. Nevertheless, we would not discourage our members who choose to engage in political activities but we would plead that such decision remains a personal affair and the church should not be dragged into partisan politics.

He pointed out that the new leadership of the church would be conscious of its role in nation building, integration and peaceful co-existence with no religious colouration and antagonism.

He said: “Like Isaiah of old, I have a vision for a glorious church, a vision for the people who are ready to serve god.”

Anointing Service

The Annual Anointing service of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle ministry world wide holds at the MFM Prayer City at 7pm on November 19 2010 as a night vigil.

The MFM Anointing service was first held in 1992 following divine directive.
The purpose of the service is for prayers of blessing to be said on bottles of olive oil brought to the service by attendees. The Bible teaches that inanimate objects can carry the Power of God. This video clip shows an excerpt of a message where Dr. Olukoya teaches about the ability of inanimate objects such as the olive oil to carry the Power of God.
Service Night

The Anointing service is a night of special ministrations and performances, messages, salvation, deliverance prayers, special prayers for issues of the nation, and blessing of the olive oil by the Man of God, Dr. Daniel Olukoya.

The Anointing service has been a source of blessing to many lives with many great testimonies.
The service is open to all persons especially those who want to experience the divine, supernatural power of God all year long.

The Experience

The Experience is an Interdenominational Gospel concert that features some of the best-known musical talents of our time. The Event, which debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 persons in attendance rapidly gained momentum at its second outing with a quantum leap in attendance of well over 250,000 people! The Experience has come to find a home at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos. The venue, constructed in 1972, in honour of the first Prime Minister of Nigeria is located in the heart of Lagos Island, Nigeria's commercial nerve centre. The TBS was designed to provide hire facilities for a number of gatherings. It has two pavilions on 4 floors enclosing an open arena of 36,000 squares meters. This location has hosted major functions like Independence Day celebrations. Following the unprecedented attendance last year, the organizers have opened up the other wing of the gallery seating. Also, additional bleacher style seating will be constructed on the side bordering the Cricket pitch (facing the former National Assembly building) to allow more participants in this year.

Uniquely the Event runs through the night starting at 7.00pm and running till 6am the following morning a colossal 11 hrs of uninterrupted prayer and live music! The Experience concert is scheduled to start at 8pm on Friday, the 3th of December and run till the early hours of Saturday morning.
